ADGS Events in 2021 to count points in the 2020/2021 AJP Tour Ranking
The AJP informs that due to the special circumstances caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, a change in the period of the AJP Tour Ranking was put in effect.
Although the 2020/2021 Abu Dhabi Grand Slam World Tour Ranking was concluded with the recent ADGS Abu Dhabi, on April 2-3, 2021, the AJP Tour Ranking will conclude only in November, at the 13th Edition of the Abu Dhabi World Professional Jiu Jitsu Championship.
With that, the three ADGS events in the 2021/2022 season scheduled before that date will also count points for the 2020/2021 AJP Tour Ranking.
Athletes that compete and place in the ADGS Miami (August 8, 2021), ADGS Moscow (September 12, 2021), ADGS Rio de Janeiro (October 23-24, 2021) will have the points added to both the 2020/2021 AJP Tour Ranking and the 2021/2022 ADGS World Tour Ranking.
Athletes that compete and place at all AJP Tour International Pro, National Pro and Continental Pro events held until November 2021 will also add points to the 2020/2021 AJP Tour Ranking.
The 2020/2021 AJP Tour Ranking will be used to determine the athletes that qualify for the 13th Edition of the Abu Dhabi World Professional Jiu Jitsu Championship, scheduled November 15-19, 2021.
