Abu Dhabi Grand Slam: Big Names line up to Compete Safely in Abu Dhabi at the 2020/2021 Season Finale; Registration Deadline Updated to March 28
The 2020/2021 season of the Abu Dhabi Grand Slam Tour will come to an end on April 2-3, at the Jiu Jitsu Arena, in Abu Dhabi. The AJP is working tirelessly to provide a safe and healthy environment for all of those involved in the event. The ADGS Abu Dhabi will run under strict guidelines to minimize the risk of transmission of the novel Coronavirus.
After such a difficult season, the AJP is proud to welcome some of the best competitors in the world for two days of sure to be great action on the mats of the Jiu Jitsu Arena. A quick look through the registration list makes clear that the elite of the sport will be in the UAE in the beginning of April.
The adult male black belt division and the adult female brown/black belt division will feature huge names such as Francisco Jonas Andrade, Hiago George, Lucas Pinheiro, Gabriel Sousa, Leo Saggioro, Ali Monfaradi, Diego “Pato” Batista, Espen Mathiesen, Thiago Macedo, Claudio Calasans Jr, Guthierry Barbosa, Jaime Canuto, Isaque Braz, Tommy Langaker, Adam Wardzisnki, Patrick Gaudio, Guttemberg Pereira, Wallace Costa, Brenda Larissa, Eliana Carauni, Ariadne Oliveira, Ana Rodrigues, Beatriz Mesquita, Larissa Paes, Luiza Monteiro, Julia Boscher, Gabrielli Pessanha, Kendall Reusing.

2020 Abu Dhabi World Professional Championship scheduled April 7-9
The AJP and the UAEJJF will welcome the best competitors in the world for the 2020 ADWPJJC on April 7-9, 2021.
The event will feature athletes in the masters division on April 7.
Athletes in the adult division will compete on April 8,9.
The registration deadline is March 25.

AJP Health and Safety Guide for 2020/2021 season events
The AJP is working tirelessly to guarantee the safest environment possible for athletes, officials, referees and all of those involved in its events in the 2020/2021 season. That’s why the AJP has put together a comprehensive guide that sets rules and regulations for each event to happen in the safest way possible.
According to the AJP Events Safety Procedure Guidelines, all of those involved in the events will be asked to wear personal protective equipment like masks and gloves and also practice social distancing before and after matches.
